Recovery and recycling

We value recovery

Metal waste is not a cost but a great resource.

In just twenty years Stemin S.p.A. has become a leader in the metallurgical sector thanks to the innovative and technologically advanced management of all phases of re-valorisation of industrial and consumer waste with grain size up to 3 mm.

With this process, the metal’s recovery is fully part of the concept of circular economy where to the total of incoming waste correspond a certain percentage of aluminium recovered: in this specific case we are talking about 95% of metal waste retrained.

Where does the purchased metal come from?

  • Binders
  • Certified and authorized breeders
  • Consortia
  • Primary engineering companies that generate scraps

A uniform and controlled flow

The carefully selected metal scraps, before being processed and sorted to the related processing plants, is inspected by quality control and classified according to the specifications.

The company is equipped with instruments that allow the analysis of incoming and outgoing materials with the consequent issuance of conformity certifications pursuant to UNI legislation.

Only following the validation, both at an administrative and qualitative level, the industrial process continues in its various stages of processing.
