On 15 June, we celebrated Stemin’s 25th anniversary, an important milestone that we chose to share with all employees and their families.
For the occasion, the company opened its doors in the late afternoon to welcome guests for a special event held entirely within the production site, which had been carefully prepared for the celebration.
The evening began with guided tours of the facilities, during which family members, accompanied by our managers, were able to gain an insight into the daily activities carried out at Stemin: from the recovery of raw material from scrap, through to melting in the foundry, and the production of secondary aluminium semi-finished products, with a stop at our new laboratory, which ensures the quality and excellence of our output.
The evening continued with a convivial buffet, followed by a speech from our Chairman, Olivo Foglieni, and the awarding of seven employees who have been with us since the company’s foundation.
The celebration concluded with the traditional cutting of the cake, a symbol of good fortune for the future.
“People do not work only for something, but above all for someone. If I have grown and Stemin has become a European leader in its sector in just a few years, I owe it to all of you, to those who are still with us and to those who have retired: to my team, which I believe is among the strongest in the market. I am not tired, and there are important projects on the horizon that will lead us towards an even brighter future.”
These were the words of our Chairman, Olivo Foglieni, as he expressed his gratitude to the entire Stemin team.
We would like to thank everyone for their enthusiastic participation, in the hope that we have conveyed the spirit of teamwork and family that accompanies us every day.
