At the Comun Nuovo (BG) site, the installation of a brand-new photovoltaic system has been completed to complement the existing plant: a total of 1,038 monocrystalline solar modules have been installed on the roofs of the warehouses, adding to the more than 4,100 panels already in place.

Specifically, 510 modules were installed on the roof of the Stemin S.p.A. warehouse at Via G. Marconi, 41 – 24040 Comun Nuovo (BG), with a capacity of 269.9 kWp, and 528 modules on the warehouse at Via G. Marconi, 67, Comun Nuovo (BG), with a capacity of 302.4 kWp.
The new modules chosen offer higher efficiency and lower annual performance losses, estimated at less than 1% per year.
This installed capacity adds to the existing 1,032 kWp already present at the production site on Via G. Marconi, 67, Comun Nuovo (BG), which currently supplies around 22% of the total energy consumed.
At full operation, the investment will create a total capacity of 1,604.3 kWp, corresponding to just under 35% of the company’s overall energy needs.
This new photovoltaic park is an integral part of the development plan of Stemin S.p.A. and the FECS Group, of which Stemin S.p.A. is a part, aiming to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions by pursuing greater energy autonomy within a framework of sustainable development and protection of the environment and surrounding territory.
