Brusaporto, 14 December 2019 – The annual FECS Group Christmas dinner, held at the renowned restaurant La Cantalupa by Vittorio, provided the perfect occasion to celebrate a remarkable milestone: the 20th anniversary of Stemin S.p.A., the founding company of the entire industrial Group.
Since its establishment in 1999, Stemin has rapidly become a leader in the metallurgical sector. The celebratory evening also featured a special “lifetime achievement” award ceremony, recognising long-serving employees who have been with the company since its inception.
A significant milestone for a young company, as Olivo Foglieni, founder and President, remarked: “It fills me with pride to look back and see the miracle we’ve created. Even more rewarding is knowing that many of the same people who believed in this dream 20 years ago are still standing beside me today. Our achievements are certainly the result of entrepreneurial vision, but above all, they stem from the extraordinary teamwork that everyone puts in day after day. We work not just for something, but for someone—and to them, I owe a great deal. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I hope to celebrate many more milestones like this in the years to come.”.
Stemin S.p.A.’s journey began in 1999, as the first company to be formed within the FECS industrial Group. Today, the Group is one of the few players worldwide capable of producing technically advanced aluminium components through the direct transformation of recycled and revalued scrap metal.
Two major milestones have marked the company’s path and defined its greatest challenges: the move in 2011 from its original historic site to a state-of-the-art facility in Comun Nuovo, and in 2015, the construction of a new foundry for the production of aluminium ingots.
Stemin’s continued growth and success are the result of a Group-wide vision focused on the industry of the future—one where skill, innovation, creativity and know-how drive the development of the country, the local area, the workforce, and do so in harmony with the environment. Thanks to this ongoing effort, the company has reached an impressive turnover of €130 million.
